Train to London Heathrow

Regarding train transport in Heathrow, there are a couple of available options to get to London or other places around:

Heathrow Express

By Heathrow Express passengers are able to transfer to Central London (Paddington Station).

These are non-stop trains that only take 15 minutes to Paddington Station from Terminals 2 and 3, and 6 more minutes from Terminal 5. Trains operate every 15 minutes.

Train has services such as air conditioned, free Wi-Fi, plenty of space for luggage, power sockets, among others. 

Schedule from Heathrow Airport:

- Terminals 2 & 3: From 05:17 am to 11:33 pm and 11:48 pm (Monday to Sunday)
- Terminal 4: From 05:48 am (Monday to Saturday) to 11:22 pm and 11:41 pm and from 06:05 am on Sundays
- Terminal 5: From 05:12 am (Monday to Sunday) to 11:27 pm and 11:42 pm.
Trains are currently operating every 15 minutes.

Fares

Tickets are available online or via the Heathrow Express app as well as in Arrivals or at the stations.

If you purchase your ticket on the day, the Express Single Ticket costs £25. £32 for first class. Alternatively tickets can be bought from just £5.50 one way when you book 90 days in advance.

Please, keep in mind that contactless and Oyster cannot be used to travel with Heathrow Express. 

elizabeth line

The newest rail option for passengers at Heathrow Airport. This line offers transportation to and from the Airport and stops along west London. Travel time along the route is around 40 minutes.

The Elizabeth line service stops at the following stations:

- Heathrow Terminal 2 & 3
- Heathrow Terminal 4
- Heathrow Terminal 5

Tickets are £12.80.

Rail-air bus links

Bus services connect Heathrow Airport with the national rail network at Feltham, Woking, Reading and Watford Junction.

There are buses that connects LHR Airport with the national rail network.

- To Reading: By RailAir coaches. RA1 bus route.
- To Watford Junction: By Green Line bus route 724.
- To Feltham: By Bus route 285 and Bus route 490.
- The RailAir RA2 coach service runs from Heathrow Central Bus Station and Terminal 5 to Guildford Railway Station (for trains to Farnham, Portsmouth and the North Downs). 

For the rail-air bus link service, coaches are located at the central bus station in Heathrow Airport. Passengers can get there within a few minutes’ walk from both Terminal 2 and Terminal 3.
